Our Next Step to become an Eco-Friendly Organisation.

When Mega Fortris released our last blog “Mega Fortris are going Green”, we received great feedback from our readers and customers. Many were happy about the fact that we were no longer supplying paper based locking instructions to reduce the usage of paper. Instead, customers were able to view the locking instructions online to make it easier and Eco-friendly.

Now we are taking the next step to ensure we make the world and our environment a better place for the generations to come.

Mega Fortris would like to proudly announce that we are in compliance with REACH Regulations.

REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry. It also promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests on animals.

In principle, REACH applies to all chemical substances; not only those used in industrial processes but also in our day-to-day lives, for example in cleaning products, paints as well as in articles such as clothes, furniture and electrical appliances. Therefore, the regulation has an impact on most companies across the EU.

Well, what does this exactly mean? This means that the base material and resin used in the products manufactured by Mega Fortris Malaysia Sdn Bhd are free from hazardous chemicals and substances in compliance with the REACH Regulations.

This will not only aid us in becoming Eco-friendlier, this will have a direct impact on all our customers, as this will allow them to become Eco-friendlier as they use products from an organisation which has REACH compliance.
